3-Hour Pottery Class Schedule

First Hour: Introduction and Basic Guidance

• Welcome and introduction to the class, instructor, and pottery tools.

• Basic techniques such as kneading clay and shaping on the wheel.

• Practice basic techniques.

Second Hour: Practice and Vietnamese Pottery Stories

• Practice advanced techniques like detailed shaping and surface decoration.

• Instructor shares stories about the history and culture of Vietnamese pottery.

Third Hour: Finishing Products and Interaction

• Finish products, including refining and decorating.

• Interact and share experiences and knowledge about pottery.

• Summary and preparation of products for firing.

Glazing and Product Delivery

• Glazing and firing products if requested by students.

• Delivery of products after 5-7 days, with possible fees for districts outside Districts 1, 3, and 10.

What to Prepare

When attending a class at Pottery Studio - Clay’s Home, you don’t need to prepare much as we have most of the necessary tools ready. However, to ensure the best experience, you might want to prepare the following:

• Comfortable Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. You might get clay on your clothes, so avoid wearing anything too nice or hard to clean.

• Hand Towel: Although we provide towels, you might want to bring your own for extra comfort.

• Creative Spirit: Bring your creativity and be ready to experiment with new things!

Studio Preparations

We have all the necessary tools and materials ready for the class, including:

• Clay and Glaze: High-quality clay and glaze.

• Pottery Tools: Wheels, cutting tools, brushes, and other tools.

• Protective Gear: Aprons, gloves, and other protective equipment.

• Detailed Guidance: Our dedicated instructors will guide you through each step of the pottery-making process.

Refund Policy

• Students can request a refund if they cancel at least 48 hours before the class starts.

• If canceled within 48 hours of the class start time, no refund will be given.

Cancellation Policy

• Students can cancel and request a refund or reschedule if they notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

• If canceled within 48 hours, no refund will be given, but rescheduling is possible.

Damage During Shipping

• We ensure careful packaging of products before shipping.

• If products are damaged during shipping, we will assist in repairing or creating a new product for the student.

Rescheduling Policy

• Students can reschedule their classes if they notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

• If rescheduling within 48 hours, a small fee will be charged.
