📍Free orientation consultation
- Before starting your studies, you will receive thorough advice to determine:
- Your learning goals (communication, TOPIK exam, work purposes, studying abroad,…)
- Your current status (whether you have studied before, your level of grammar and vocabulary retention,…)
- The time you can dedicate to studying each week to arrange a suitable schedule
👉 This stage helps the teacher understand your desires, and you also understand where you are starting from.
📍Free initial competency assessment
- You will take a short test or have a direct conversation with the teacher to assess your current abilities in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and reflexes.
- For students who have studied Korean before, the teacher will check if you are at a beginner or intermediate level to avoid re-learning known knowledge.
- For beginners, this step is lighter – mainly helping you to get familiar and reduce pressure before starting real classes.
📍Designing a personalized learning path
Based on the test results and the orientation discussed, the teacher will prepare a suitable learning path for you, including:
- The curriculum to be used (for example: Sejong, Yonsei, EPS, TOPIK practice,…)
- Content divided by week: what to learn – what to review – how to test
- Specific study time: number of sessions/week, duration of each session, online or offline learning
- The path is not rigidly fixed but will be adjusted flexibly according to your progress and feedback throughout the course.
📍Starting official studies
After agreeing on the learning path and schedule, you will be added to a study group to:
- Receive lesson materials and daily assignments
- Submit assignments and receive corrections, detailed feedback
- Communicate with the teacher if there are difficulties in learning
- Classes will take place via Google Meet or Zoom (for online), or at a convenient location if studying offline.
📍Monitoring learning progress and periodic assessments
- Each week, the teacher will provide a personal progress report: where you have reached, what needs improvement, whether you are on track.
- There will be periodic small tests or corrections to help you recognize progress, avoiding studying without knowing where you have improved.
- The teacher is always ready to advise on the learning path if you want to change goals, for example, from learning communication to practicing for TOPIK.
📍 Support outside of class hours – always there for you
- Outside of official class hours, you can still message to ask questions, request corrections for written assignments, inquire about grammar you don't understand,…
- For students preparing for TOPIK, there is also support for practice tests and detailed corrections – even outside of hours if you need to accelerate your exam preparation.
