The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has implemented a standard procedure for managing power banks and electronic cigarettes. The regulations for bringing power banks and electronic cigarettes on board have now been tightened. 🔹 Number of items allowed on board ✔ Under 100Wh: Up to 5 (previously 20 → reduced) ✔ 100~160Wh: Up to 2 with airline approval ✔ Over 160Wh: Not allowed on board ❌ 🔹 Storage and precautions ✔ Must be stored with insulating tape and in a plastic bag/pouch ✔ Checked baggage not allowed ❌ (only carry-on is permitted) ✔ Overhead bin storage not allowed ❌ (must be kept on your person or in the seat pocket) ✔ Immediately inform the crew if any abnormal signs occur These regulations will primarily apply to domestic flights.
