Machiya Coffee began in a small corner of Saigon, where the city reveals itself through narrow alleys and rows of townhouses. Inspired by the structure of Vietnamese urban life, the café preserves this everyday form while quietly infusing it with the spirit of Japanese architecture.
“Machiya” means “Townhouse” in Japanese, and it also reflects how the café defines its space — not elaborate, not noisy, but simply a place to pause, enjoy a cup of coffee, and feel the familiar comfort of being at home in the middle of the city.
